A Plea to Chris Rosebrough: Please! Enough is Enough!

[*UPDATE* It has come to my attention that this blog post is not clear, so I do need to use my own words to explain the flow of events. Now back to the post.]

For too long now (approx. 6 months) there has been some disturbing things happening behind the scenes and so few people know about it. On the surface, things seem fine and dandy but it is just a façade that most folks are falling for.

A while ago I wrote a blog post about Dan Kimball that I later removed because I felt that I didn’t know enough about him or the situation and I had no right to enter the whole mess.

Now, I have been apprised of so much more and have been privy to some disheartening information. I cannot claim to know the complete, full picture but I have been given the go ahead to share some things of which I know. Some very disturbing things.

Most of you my readers do not know who Chris Rosebrough is and that is fine. You can totally stop reading if you like. Well, you don’t have to ever read anything on here.

Anyway, this is for those of you who do know him and are being duped by him. This is for those of you who I have watched fall into his plan and see nothing wrong. I hurt for Chris and I hurt for those of you being taken in by him.

I will now let links tell the story. Please, be careful with all of this information. Mr. Rosebrough needs to be publicly exposed for what he is doing. He has been rebuked and corrected in private by many people and some people are reluctant to step up and expose him. This is understandable but it is doing him no good to allow him to continue these things behind the scenes while still holding a position of influence in public.

This is one of many situations happening in evangelicalism that is heartbreaking and shocking. I keep bracing myself for the next giant of the faith to fall. Please, pray for Chris and all the people involved in this and for any other public Christian figure that comes to mind who are on the front lines. We need all the men of faith we can and they need our prayers. Pray that they do not fall. Pray for the ones who have fallen to repent and trust in Christ.

This is not something I am doing lightly. I have examined my heart and asked God to help me not to do this out of fleshly motives but rather out of a heart of love. I pray that I consider the light of Scripture in this. I also beg you that if I have sinned that you would correct me according to Scripture.

Chris Rosbrough defended Mr. Kimball and and tried to convince the public that he is orthodox in belief even if his methods are not biblical. [Things seemed to calm down for a little while but Chris had yet to repent. The thing is, we are not to play with fire the way he has been. He has befriended many emergent leaders and it seems like he is now emotionally involved and this has clouded his discernment. Ingrid posted a blog post about Rick Warren's agenda of trying to infiltrate and dupe the Reformed camp and this sparked Chris's latest attack on her]
